I’ve never had the chance to go to Afghanistan. Your images are now added to all the other pictures I saw from that country, that help me imagine it. Thank you for sharing.

great pictures, I was surprised to see the street front of a glass building. Is that recent and who designed and constructed the building?

    Wow, wow and triple wow.

Keep posting pics from wherever you go … It’s almost like being there.

@ Kevin. Sorry, I think the building is a bank, its about all I know. And yes, they have plenty of glass in the stan. Herat glass is the best!

@Alex. Thanks. I have tons on pictures, it’s just finding the time. Perhaps I should start a new photoblog specialising in knocking stereo types?

Go right ahead. I’ll subscribe to that one too … :D

Here’s hoping the peaceful appearance in these pictures stays that way, and would that it extended far beyond Kabul.

Thank you for sharing the pictures. It’s important to make the city more accessible to the public, more human.

How does it feel to be in a troubled zone?

It seems there aren’t much people in Kabul Street.

The brass work in the shop is typical Saudi sight.

Your webpage is very neat and orderly. I have to see your other blogpages, too!

    Do you keep a travelogue?

    Have a great time blogging!

If you are planning a trip make sure you use http://www.1000travelsites.com to find the best prices for flights and hotels. They search pretty much every travel provider on the web in a matter of seconds! Then they list the prices from all of the travel providers on one page so you definitely get the lowest price every time. I’ve tried other sites like this before, but this one aways has the most listings and the best prices. It’s like the google of travel searches.
